Relocation Services in the Netherlands

Personal housing search and settling-in support

Aerial view of Dutch residential neighbourhood

This service is meant for expats who are relocating to the Netherlands or are already here, and are in need of a new rental home.

Start with your move date, household, work location and budget. We help organise the rental search, viewings, application and handover, including searches that begin while you are abroad. Agree the tasks and payment terms before the search starts.

1:Introduction and Intake

Intake

We schedule a free phone call with you to see whether this service may be for you based on your personal situation.

‍

Fee

We’ll help you choose the right relocation package and agree the services before your search begins.

‍

The Search Begins

If you decide to work with us, we send an application form and check the housing brief and requested documents. If you have not received a Dutch salary yet, read our guide to preparing income evidence before your intake.

2:Search & Preparation

Personal Contact

You'll be in close contact with us, we will be available on WhatsApp and outside normal office hours.

‍

Viewings

We request and schedule viewings, and accompany you where our schedule allows. If you are abroad, we arrange a video. Agree what you need to see, who will ask questions, and when you can give a decision across time zones. Check the address, condition, included items and total costs before applying.

‍

Off-market

We contact local agents and landlords alongside checking public listings. A privately shared home is another search option, not a promise of exclusivity or acceptance. Read how we assess off-market options.

3:Proposals

Rental Proposal

If you like an apartment, we will make a rental proposal on your behalf. We discuss strategy and terms and conditions beforehand

‍

Rental Agreement

We review the proposed agreement and explain its terms with you, including rent, charges, deposit, dates and handover. A Dutch-language contract needs careful explanation; Dutch law does not itself mean every agreement must be written in Dutch. Raise any unresolved legal question before signing and obtain qualified advice where needed.

‍

Key Transfer

We support the key transfer and check-in report. Record the property condition, existing damage, meter readings and keys so you have a clear starting record.

We can assist you with the right parties to set up utilities and insurance.

‍

Advice

If a practical question comes up after you receive the keys, contact us about the support included in your assignment and the appropriate next step.

‍

Recommendations

We’ll be there to guide you with local tips, neighborhood recommendations, and everything else that makes settling in feel a little more like home.
